Owned and run by Stephen and Linda, Elwy Valley are a shepherd’s hut maker based in North Wales region, just a stone’s throw from Snowdonia National Park. In keeping with tradition, Elwy Valley shepherd’s hut use materials sourced from local craftsman and suppliers, which gives all their designs a unique twist with plenty of charm. Each hut they build is 100% bespoke and can be built in any size from 8ft to 18ft long.

Quirky Huts are a small, family based business in North Wales. They build all their huts predominantly with locally grown Larch and Douglas Fir timber. You can’t beat a solid Welsh base! Their trademark feature is a natural and attractive waney edge cladding which looks fantastic.

Midnight Sky Huts is a fairly new family business specialising in building shepherd’s huts set up in 2019 by the Elms family. However, don’t think that experience is lacking here. Midnight Sky Huts has 25 years of carpentry and bespoke building experience behind it, meaning you’ll be in safe hands with your hut build.
The aim of Midnight Sky is to create a personal shepherd’s hut just for you, from the overall size of it down to the finishes of the interior. They do have a number of styles and sizes to choose from as a basis for your shepherd’s hut, including their hideaway hut, stable door hut and sanctuary hut. Prices start from £12,000.

Rustic Huts, South Wales
Built to order and to the unique needs of the customer, Rustic Huts offer a making service based out of Carmarthernshire in the rural South West corner of Wales. The workshop is found in Capel Iago, which is an old family sawmill mainly dealing in reclaimed timber, oak and hard wood flooring. Although the sawmill closed in 2010, there’s still a large amount of timber that’s being put to good use in the form of a beautiful shepherd’s hut, alongside new locally sourced wood from West Wales.
